Funding Information and Tips
We know how difficult it can be to find funding in your chosen artistic field. We also appreciate that finding additional funding to come and be involved in Momentum 09 could be a challenge. With this in mind we have several tips and information that may be helpful.
We hope that by combining conference and festival elements in the symposium, we have broadened the potential sources of funding available to artists and performers.
Momentum 09 can offer a letter of support and may be able to offer further assistance. If you need to arrange a letter from us contact Janette at janette@momentum09.com

The Art of Difference Festival/Symposium is about promoting the work of artists who are Deaf or with a disability by creating an opportunity to publicly present new and innovative visual, performing, literary and new media arts practices.
The event also seeks to stimulate discussion and awareness around cross-disciplinary arts practice involving people who are Deaf or with a disability. Participation is sought from individuals, arts organisations, theatre groups, curators, researchers and artists.

If you do obtain sponsorship and as part of that deal are required to show their branding please let us know.
Funding Bodies
Most countries have either government, local body or private organizations that will fund arts related and or education related causes. It is worth finding out what is available. There are several good lists of funding options available. Most funding bodies have websites outline the criteria and the application process. If you are applying for funding it is better to get in earlier than later as for some funding bodies the process is a lengthy one.
